Join our Team!  We’ve started our search for candidates who want to experience an adventure of a lifetime as a Seasonal Team Member at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari.  The discoveries you make on our award-winning team as you journey through FUN is what leads our Guests to embark on their own adventure full of memories, season after season. 

Seasonal Housing Team Members contribute to the daily operations of the Compass Commons Employee Housing Building. Compass Commons houses our BridgeUSA Team Members, college interns, and seasonal team members who live 51+ miles from our park.


Seasonal Front Desk Attendant

Contribute to the overall success of the team by serving as a leader, helper, and resource person for residents. The Attendant’s main objective is to be the go-to person for all resident questions, concerns, and requests as well as to ensure the overall safety and security of the building. The Front Desk Attendant must understand and enforce all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Housing Handbook.


How You'll Be Making a Difference

  • Ensure building and resident safety
  • Use of a computer to track resident information and room assignments
  • Assist residents with check-in/check-out upon arrival & departure
  • Process sensitive information while practicing confidentiality
  • Respond to and report emergencies
  • Manage, accept, and distribute resident mail/packages
  • Complete daily administrative tasks
  • Oversee visitors and monitor entry to facilities
  • Assist with resident engagement events
  • Other duties as assigned

Shifts offered for this position include 1st (7a-330p), 2nd (3p-1130p), & 3rd (11p-7:30a)


The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 - Shift preference will be taken into consideration but rotating shifts may occassionally be required due to business needs.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old or older
  • Currently enrolled in college studying in the field of HR, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays, including Sundays
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Enthusiastic approach to helping employees
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Experience in conflict resolution (or willing to learn)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of professional integrity
  • Strong attention to detail
